We’ve (my husband and I) stayed at the Hummingbird’s home every time that we have been to Skaneateles, and each time the experience couldn’t have been better! We always leave relaxed and truly feel like we were on vacation. The decor inside and out is absolutely beautiful, and the rooms very comfortable. The evenings spent in the garden have also been spectacular – the location could not have been better. And to say nothing of the breakfast! It’s delicious! Sabina’s traditional polish and european breakfasts even make my husband eager to wake up in the morning
. We will definitely be returning.
My Husband and I spent Valentines night in the Rose Room at this wonderful bed and breakfast!
It was our first year experiencing a bed and breakfast getaway and chose this one based on the website and accommodations. It was wonderful! The jacuzzi in the Rose Room was just perfect along with the romantic decor and setting. The breakfast was something to look forward and it was a perfect way to end the weekend. She is an amazing cook! You would not be disappointed here and we will return for our next getaway.
I’ve stayed at the Hummingbird’s Home several times — for weddings, for graduations, and, most importantly, for fun! I love the atmosphere and amazing cooking– the Innkeepers always have delicious breakfasts and peaceful classical music playing in the background. The rooms are extremely cozy for a great night’s sleep — and there is so much to do in the Finger Lakes!
My girlfriends and I usually treat ourselves to an exotic “Spring Break” in March or April — usually to the Caribbean or some fabulous ski resort. Because of the recent economic situation, we wanted to be more conservative this year — and try something more local. We happened upon the Hummingbird’s “Pampered Girls Retreat” on the internet. We’re from Syracuse, but we got to enjoy bubble baths, massages and Skaneateles for much less than what our normal Spring Breaks cost. Sabina’s hospitality and her beautiful Inn were more than we ever bargained for. We’ll definitely include the Hummingbird on our Spring Break plan list — bad economy or not. We thank the wonderful Innkeeper for helping us relax on a budget.
Will always remember the great breakfasts and in-depth conversations we got at Sabina’s, as well as Max. A great (and romantic) B&B. Oh, and if you could send me the recipe for the sweet bread you served, my mum will be delighted ![]()
Thanks Sabina.

We have been with twice you..once in the summer and once in the winter. Would recommend your inn and the areas highly!
The accomodations are delightful..very comfortable and spacious. Everthing is thougthful..right down to the earplugs..just in case someone is “breathing loudly”
And of course, breakfast is WONDERFUL!
I love the location…handy to everything and with charming, relaxing grounds. Perfect for a wedding or family gathering.
You will surely enjoy your stay, too.
